Effective July 20, 2026 ยท Commonwealth of Redmont law
GnomePay is the identity and payments coordinator for the GnomeCorp services on the DemocracyCraft Minecraft server, operated by GnomeCorp (in-game firm 2231). It deals only in Redmont Dollars, the server currency, which have no real-world monetary value. By accessing or using GnomePay (the "Service") you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. You accept them by using the Service, and continued use is your agreement to the current version. These Terms are governed by, and read consistently with, the law of the Commonwealth of Redmont, including the Contracts Act and its implied duty of good faith and fair dealing.
GnomePay coordinates your identity across the GnomeCorp services it links to, such as GnomeStack and GnomeFundMe (each a "Connected Service"), and gives you one place to see your balances and move Redmont Dollars. Funds you hold on a Connected Service are held by that service in its own custody under its own terms. GnomePay reads the balance, shows it to you, and, on your instruction, tells the holding service to execute a withdrawal or transfer (each a "Transfer"). Each Connected Service is governed by its own terms, and these Terms do not modify them.
GnomePay is not a bank and does not provide banking services. No balance shown or held here is a bank account, a deposit, a loan, or an investment, none confers ownership in us, and none earns interest.
No credit. We do not extend credit, loans, overdrafts, or buy-now-pay-later. You may only Transfer or spend Redmont Dollars actually available to you.
GnomePay is a convenience layer over the Redmont Treasury and the Connected Services. It is not a guaranteed or exclusive means of payment, and every Connected Service can also be used directly.
You access the Service with your Discord identity, and you can link your Minecraft account by paying a unique micro-amount from it in-game, which the Treasury attests came from that account; the payment becomes your advertising credit. GnomePay links your identity across Connected Services so you can sign in and transact in one place, and by using GnomePay you consent to that linking for the purpose of operating the Service.
You are responsible for all activity under your account. Keep your credentials secure and tell us promptly about any suspected unauthorised use. We may require reasonable verification that an account is yours before processing Transfers or resolving disputes, and where two claims to the same identity conflict, a person reviews the conflict; nothing is merged automatically.
The balance GnomePay shows for a Connected Service is read from that service and refreshed when you look; the service remains the custodian. A Transfer you start here is an instruction: GnomePay validates it, records it, and passes it to the service that holds the funds, which executes the movement of real Redmont Dollars. We do not create money. Every Redmont Dollar moved is a real, backed Treasury balance.
You authorise the Transfers you initiate. Transfers are final once executed and may not be reversible. Check the destination and amount before confirming.
We may set minimums, maximums, velocity limits, and processing times, and may delay, decline, or place a hold on a Transfer or account where we reasonably suspect fraud, error, exploitation, or breach of these Terms, or where law or server rules require it.
We may correct errors, and may reverse or instruct the reversal of Transfers arising from bugs, exploits, fraud, or mistaken payments, and may recover amounts you owe us, including from balances we hold for you.
You may withdraw available balances to your linked in-game account, subject to these Terms, limits, and verification. If your account is inactive for an extended period, we may notify you and take reasonable steps to return balances we hold for you; server-level pruning of inactive in-game balances is outside our control. You are responsible for any taxes arising from your activity, and we may deduct or remit amounts where law or server rules require it.
GnomeAds is the Service's self-serve advertising product. Advertising credit you deposit is the one balance GnomePay holds in custody: it sits in a dedicated account segregated from all other estate money, stays backed by real funds, and earns no interest. Serving bills your credit per impression, and you may withdraw uncommitted credit to your linked in-game account, subject to these Terms.
The DemocracyCraft server periodically levies a tax on the total balance held in that segregated account. Because the tax is charged on the pooled balance of everyone's held funds, we allocate the actual tax charged in proportion to the funds held at the moment it is levied - advertiser credit, accrued publisher earnings, and our own retained revenue alike - and deduct each holder's share. We add no fee and keep no part of it beyond our own funds' proportional share.
Campaigns, creatives, and landing pages are reviewed before and while they run. Gambling, banking and financial services, adult content, and deceptive offers are not accepted, and we may hold, pause, or reject a campaign or creative at our discretion, including after it has started. A paused campaign keeps its budget reserved so it can resume; unspent budget on a rejected or closed campaign returns to your withdrawable credit.
Publishers who carry GnomeAds banners earn a disclosed share of the revenue their impressions bill, paid to the account they nominate. Publishers must embed ad units as documented and must not manufacture impressions or clicks; we may pause or remove a publisher for invalid traffic.
An advertisement is the advertiser's statement, not ours, and we do not endorse what it offers. Advertisers are responsible for their creatives and landing pages complying with law and server rules, including the Commercial Standards Act's false and misleading advertising standards.
You must not use GnomePay to launder money, move proceeds of crime, finance unlawful activity, or evade server rules or law. Consistent with the Criminal Code Act, we may freeze, decline, reverse, or report Transfers or funds that we reasonably believe involve fraud or proceeds of crime, and may suspend accounts involved.
The Service's fees, if any, are disclosed within the Service, and the advertising revenue share is disclosed to publishers. We may change fees prospectively with reasonable notice. We will not misstate our fees. We do not charge interest, and any fee will be stated as a fee, not as interest.
You must not: use the Service for any unlawful purpose; commit fraud, scams, or misrepresentation; launder money or move proceeds of crime; operate a bank or other financial institution through the Service, including taking deposits, lending, paying or promising interest or returns, or running money-transmission or currency-exchange services for others (Commercial Standards Act s9); exploit bugs or the server economy; exploit new or inexperienced players; manufacture ad impressions or clicks; use bots or automation without permission; multi-account or share accounts to gain advantage; circumvent limits or controls; or attack, probe, or reverse-engineer the Service.
The Service, including its software and branding, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected, including by automatic protection under the Intellectual Property Act. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable licence to use the Service for its intended purpose. Do not use our marks without our written permission. Advertisers keep the rights in their creatives and grant us a licence to store, review, and display them for serving.
GnomePay coordinates identity across Connected Services, so our Privacy Policy is central to how it works. We process information on lawful bases under the Privacy Act, including performance of this contract, our legitimate interests, and your consent, and the Act treats the financial records we hold, including balances and transaction history, as protected personal information. We do not require, and ask you not to provide, real-life personal information.
To the fullest extent permitted by Redmont law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant uninterrupted, timely, or error-free Transfers, continuous availability, or any outcome. We are not responsible for the server, the Treasury, Discord, or other third-party systems.
To the fullest extent permitted by Redmont law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary losses, for lost profits or opportunities, or for losses arising from a delayed, declined, or failed Transfer, third-party conduct, or events beyond our reasonable control.
Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the balances we actually held for you when the liability arose, such as advertising credit, and (b) the fees you paid us in the 90 days before the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Redmont law, including our duty of good faith and fair dealing and our responsibility for funds properly held in custody for you. We do not exclude liability for our own fraud or for misappropriation of funds entrusted to us.
To the extent permitted by Redmont law, you will indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, losses, and reasonable costs arising from your use of the Service, your breach of these Terms, your violation of law or server rules, or your infringement of another person's rights.
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access or account, acting reasonably and in good faith, including for suspected breach, fraud, exploitation, legal or server-rule requirements, or risk to the Service or others. You may stop using the Service at any time and withdraw balances we hold for you, subject to these Terms.
On termination we will return the available, properly-owed balances we hold for you after settling amounts you owe and completing any reasonable investigation; funds connected to fraud, exploitation, or breach may be withheld or reversed. If we discontinue the Service, we will give reasonable notice and a window to withdraw.
We may modify or discontinue features, limits, Connected Services, and fees, and may amend these Terms. We post the current version at this address with its effective date and, for material changes, give reasonable notice within the Service. Continued use after a change takes effect is your acceptance of it. If you do not accept a change, stop using the Service and withdraw any balance we hold for you.
These Terms are governed by the law of the Commonwealth of Redmont. If a dispute arises, contact us first and we will try in good faith to resolve it, and the parties may agree to non-binding mediation. Consistent with the Contracts Act, nothing in these Terms requires binding arbitration or removes your right to bring a matter before the courts of Redmont.
If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remain in effect, and our not enforcing a right is not a waiver of it. These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and rules published within the Service are the entire agreement. We may assign these Terms on a transfer of the Service; you may not assign without our consent. We are not liable for failures beyond our reasonable control, but that does not excuse our own mismanagement, negligence, or misuse of funds held in custody.
You accept these Terms and the Privacy Policy by using GnomePay; continued use of the Service is your agreement to them. Reach us on the GnomeCorp Discord.
